2025 GMC SIERRA 2500

Filed Aug 25, 2026

My 2025 GMC Sierra 2500 experienced repeated electrical failures that caused complete battery drainage and multiple overnight no‑start conditions within the first year of ownership. These failures occurred in extreme desert heat, where temperatures in [XXX] reach 120°F. A vehicle that repeatedly fails to start in these conditions creates a serious safety hazard, including risk of heat‑related medical emergencies if stranded. The defect persisted despite multiple repair attempts and two battery…

2012 GMC SIERRA 2500

The contact owns a 2012 GMC Sierra 2500 equipped with Armstrong Tires, Tire Line: Tru Trac HT, Tire Size: 245/75/17, DOT Number: 1E6DAE022625. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for a routine tire rotation but was informed there were massive bubbles on the tires, and on one tire, there was a bulge the size of an apple on the sidewall of the tire. The contact replaced the tires. The local dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was contacted and declined…

Ongoing issues with Steering pull to right, and brake pull to hard right when applying brakes, which also turns steering wheel to right upon application. Have to keep steering wheel towards left with constant pressure to go in straight line and when braking. Driver has to be aware of changing road conditions that could affect that. Multiple inspections at multiple dealers have found no obvious issues, and multiple alignments performed, with tires also being replaced have had no success in…

2023 GMC SIERRA 2500

On Saturday, XXX, at around 3:00 PM, my wife and I were traveling southbound on Interstate XXX toward [XXX] (this occurred in [XXX], just north of [XXX]). We were driving our 2023 GMC Sierra 2500HD pickup while towing our 36-foot 5th wheel trailer. I was traveling at approximately 60 miles per hour, and there was heavy traffic on the highway. Just north of Highway XXX, the passenger rear tire delaminated and went flat. The tread came off the tire, striking the wheel well, rear bumper, and…

2024 GMC SIERRA 2500

I bought this truck from a reputable GM dealership 2.5 weeks before this happening occurred. Tires only had 50k miles on them when they were rated for 80k miles: the front driver side Ttire ruptured while on major hwy in texas. No signs of air loss and the road was clear of any debris. Steering started to lightly shake and eventually came to a violent shake, then the front driver tire ruptured. Uncontrollable steering from the rupture caused the truck to slam and scrape into the concrete…

2021 GMC SIERRA 2500

Filed Aug 5, 2026

The left rear internal top-hat parking brake shoes suffered a total manufacturing bonding failure, causing the friction lining to completely delaminate and detach from the metal backing plates inside the rotor hub. This triggered Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) C060B (Left Park Brake Actuator Circuit). The failed components were replaced by the servicing facility and are unavailable, but the official dealer diagnostic scan sheet and itemized repair invoice are preserved and available for…

2021 GMC SIERRA 2500

Filed Jul 30, 2026

After finishing a long drive south, I shut the engine off and a yellow engine code popped on. I connected my computer to it and revealed a P129F code (fuel pump control module). I have noticed that other GMC models have been included in a recall concerning this problem. The 2021 GMC 2500 Denali should be also since it is the same problem. This needs to be covered by the manufacturer since it is a constant problem.

2023 GMC SIERRA 2500

While driving at highway speed, the left rear OEM Goodyear Wrangler 275/65R20 tire experienced a sudden tread separation and catastrophic failure. The tire pressure was correct, there were no TPMS warnings or other vehicle alerts, and the vehicle did not strike any road debris or other object prior to the failure. The truck was purchased new in December 2022 and has approximately 14,500 miles. The tread separation caused extensive damage to the truck, including the bedside, bumper, taillight,…

2026 GMC SIERRA 2500

Filed Jul 27, 2026

No Incident Occurred. Tire Size 275/65R20. Tire Pressure Fluctuating between 59 and 71 PSI. 3 of 4 tires appear to have a defect. Was detailing the vehicle on 7/26/26 and noticed a tear in the Side wall on the Passenger side rear tire. About 3/4 to 1 inch away from the rim along the sidewall. Running parallel with the rim for about 4. Found similar defects and indentation lines on the Passenger side front and Drivers side rear, in varying lengths around the rim. Vehicle has Not Towed, had a…

My 2025 Sierra 2500HD repeatedly displays “Trailer Brakes Disabled—Service Required” with a lithium- and solar-equipped trailer. The truck passes the EL-52641 simulator, but the failure occurs intermittently while towing and resets after Park or reconnecting the trailer. This closely matches the higher-trailer-battery-voltage/backfeed condition described in N232414840. Please open a TAC case and determine whether my 2025 has the revised Trailer Brake Power Module or whether GM engineering…
